01 Jan Celebrating 40 years’ service for the 4th time in less than 2 years!

On 14 January 2020 it was time to celebrate 40 years’ service for the 4th time in 2 years. Woodfab is extremely proud to be in the position to have 4 employees reaching this significant milestone in such a short period of time. This time it was Johnny Byrne who reached the milestone!

Johnny was employed as a general operative back in 1980 but has worked as foreman for the last number of years. During a presentation to Johnny to mark the occasion, Sean thanked Johnny for his dedication and commitment down through the years. He also acknowledged the training he provided to many a young worker, including himself, down through the years. Johnny’s pleasant and helpful manner was acknowledged by all present. Johnny said a lovely few words thanking Woodfab for the opportunities it had presented to him and the life it allowed him to carve out for himself, his wife and son. Johnny finished up by saying he hoped he would finish out his working career with Woodfab, a sentiment we all share with him.
